Short answer: the most interesting Indian sneaker collabs on our store come from Gully Labs, which has worked with Royal Enfield, Nivia, CMF by Nothing, musicians such as Raga and Aryan Katoch, the artist collective PRXKHXR, and designers Sagal Singh and Yatin Srivastava. Prices run from ₹2,700 to ₹15,990.
What makes a good sneaker collab?
A good collab brings something from the partner's world into the shoe itself. A logo on the tongue is not enough. When it works, the partner's story shows up in the upper, the lining, the laces and the small details you notice on the second look. The pairs below are chosen because their product pages describe real design decisions, from a blackout build inspired by a motorbike to a woven fabric inspired by a Himalayan cap.
What is the Gully Labs x Royal Enfield Hunter 350 collab?
The product pages describe it as the first Indian sneaker collab with a motorbike brand. The pairs are priced at ₹3,990 and are cut in men's sizing, with women's versions listed separately. Three styles are listed:
- Kaalshire UK: mirrors the blackout build of the Hunter 350 London Edition, with a black milled leather upper, red suede accents, toe perforations for breathability and a bamboo lycra lining to avoid odour. Men's sizing runs UK 6 to 12 on the page.
- Baaz Nimba Rio: mirrors the Royal Enfield Rio White, with a dual-tone canvas upper, suede toe and collar, and screen-printed graphics.
- Baaz Whitesabi Tokyo: listed for women.
All carry inverted co-branding on the padded tongue flap and the heel stitch co-branding of the Hindi word for "gully" on one side and "HNTR" on the other. See the Kaalshire UK for the full list of features.
What is the Gully Labs x Nivia Eleven Crest?
This pair is part of the Maidaan story, created with Nivia to honour Indian football culture. At ₹2,700 it is also the most affordable collab on this list. The listing describes a metallic leather and grey nubuck upper, a quilted look inspired by Nivia's classic leather footballs, a heritage gum futsal outsole, round laces, a plush EVA sockliner and a detachable tongue flap with Gully FC embroidery. If you grew up playing in the lane outside your house, this is the one built for you. See the Eleven Crest page for details.
Which collabs come from musicians and artists?
- Gully Number 001 x Raga, Aandhi Kobicha: inspired by the New Delhi hip-hop artist Raga, with a jute and suede leather upper, jute knitted laces, tongue embroidery of the word "Arhat", the number 92 on the back tab as a nod to East Delhi, and lyrics printed on the insock. Priced at ₹5,990. Check the page for availability.
- Gully Number 001 x Aryan Katoch, Buransh Red: brings the woven Kullu fabric of Himachal Pradesh to the toe and tongue, with herringbone woollen fabric on the back tab. Priced at ₹5,990, and listed for both men and women.
- Gully Number 001, Baaz Indrani Edition: styled with PRXKHXR and inspired by Indian classical dance. It has a frayed cotton canvas upper, a detachable antique gold ghunghru chain and a hand-stitched sole with contrasting blanket stitches. Priced at ₹5,990.
What is the CMF by Nothing x Gully Labs sneaker?
The Gully Number 001 Xoloni Orange is listed for women at ₹5,990. It brings together the modular approach of CMF by Nothing with Gully Labs's craft. The page lists a detachable quarter panel for personalisation, orange suede and softy leather, an extendable back strap, a rubber outsole and screw accessories at the toe. It is the one on this list that looks closest to a tech product, which is the point. Read more on the Xoloni Orange page.
Are there numbered or limited Gully Labs collabs?
Two pairs from designer collaborations sit at the top of the range.
- Gully Number 001 "Migration": created with Sagal Singh of Lead-A, in Golden Bird and Flamingo colourways, at ₹15,990. Golden Bird is described as having a faux fur upper in radiant yellow.
- The Traveller, Icy Blue: created with Yatin Srivastava at ₹12,990. The page lists three types of black leather, extra-light EVA soles and a Kantha-inspired welt in icy blue, with the first 48 pairs numbered. The box comes with a shoe horn, dust bags and a leather luggage tag.
These are the pairs to buy if you collect. Check each page for current sizes, because sizes and availability change.
Do collabs cost more than regular pairs?
Not always, and that is worth knowing. The Royal Enfield pairs are priced at ₹3,990, the same as the regular Gully Number 001 Kulfi Kesar. The Nivia Eleven Crest, at ₹2,700, is cheaper than most of the range. Prices climb with the complexity of the idea: the Raga, Aryan Katoch, Indrani and CMF pairs sit at ₹5,990, and the designer collaborations, Migration and The Traveller, sit between ₹12,990 and ₹15,990. So think of a collab as a different kind of choice, not a surcharge. You are paying for the story and the detailing, and in some cases for a smaller run.
Which collab is right for which person?
- The rider or the road-trip lover: a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 pair.
- The football fan: the Nivia Eleven Crest.
- The music listener: Raga's Aandhi Kobicha or Aryan Katoch's Buransh Red.
- The design and tech person: the Xoloni Orange from CMF by Nothing.
- The collector: Migration or The Traveller.
Collab pairs also make good gifts for the same reason. They come with a reason to exist, which makes them easier to explain to the person receiving them. If you are shopping for a gift, write to us before ordering if you are unsure about sizing.
How do you choose a collab pair?
- Pick the story you connect with. Football, motorbikes, hip-hop, mountain folk culture and classical dance are all here.
- Decide how loud you want it. The Royal Enfield Kaalshire UK is subtle in black. The Buransh Red and Xoloni Orange are not.
- Check the material. Leather, jute, canvas and suede each need different care.
- Check size and availability on the page. Some pairs list a single size option, while others list a full range.
How do you look after a collab pair?
The care note on Gully Labs pages is simple: wipe with a soft brush or cloth, let the pair air-dry away from direct heat and store with paper inside to hold the shape. For canvas and jute, avoid soaking the upper. For suede and nubuck, brush gently once dry. Our guide on cleaning white sneakers covers more, and our teardown on Instagram shows how we assess builds.
